I needed an inexpensive TV for the bedroom and the LG 450 is a good possibility, the image quality is very excellent for it's value. I didn't want 120Hz so I saved $150 by using shopping for the 60Hz model. All LG TV's have Expert ISF Settings so which you can have it professionally calibrated or do it yourself, it even has a built-in blue filter. The ATSC tuner is very powerful as a result of I get the entire native stations OTA with an indoor antenna. This variation shouldn't be internet enabled so that you desire a set high box to get Netflix, and so forth. A word of caution though: once I got it home and calibrated the image it still did not appear nice, it takes about 12 hours of viewing for the display to "break-in".
