Just bought this TV for the sake of it being an IPS panel and for its obvious adjustability (and also 1080p). Plus this tv is so easy to calibrate; the 'picture wizard' is intensely useful.
The amount of menu choices is jaw-dropping, as is the fashion of the set. The LH40 adaptation appears neat with the plastic sq. alongside the belowside of the panel, but I like the extra minimalist seem of the LH30, and I don't just like the 120hz or the $100 value leap of the LH40.
I made a comparability to my sony 32M4000 (which I have now given to my father) and there are some fascinating variations (many are polar reverses):
-The sound is far sophisticated on the LG.
-Black levels are very close, sony's is somewhat deeper and take care ofs black colours better at perspectives.

We have a two yr previous 32" Samsung HD LCD TV that we were shifting to some other room and the LG TV used to be purchased to exchange to older TV. My spouse and I each found the high quality of the image to be not so excellent as the Samsung. Moreover, the hugest problem with the LG TV was the deterioration in picture quality with viewing attitude. The LG also looked as if it would have a slight downside preserving audio and video in sync on just a few applications, somthing we had no lengthyer no lengthyered in our different TVs (we have 4 flat panel TVs in all - only one is HD) Given the room we planned to put it in required a wide viewing angle, we again the TV.

I am now not a hard core cinema/video buff however I can not imagine that this unit won't fulfill most viewers who need a well priced midsized flat reveal high definition TV.
